Many thanks to the team at Saint-Charles International School for giving me such a warm welcome last Friday when I visited their school. A gem of an educational establishment nestled in the heart of the Jura region, it has all the advantages of an authentic Swiss boarding school. 🇨🇭

Since January, Céline has been delighted to return to her roots... coordinating the activities of the Beau Soleil Alumni Association , as she did from 2002 to 2013, with the aim of enthusiastically preparing for the 115th anniversary of the school's foundation, scheduled for June 2025!

"Born in the Cévennes region of France to a family of musicians, with a father who was a saxophonist and flutist and a mother who was a pianist and singer, Jean-Marc Sauvagnargues grew up with the soothing sounds of his father's orchestra rehearsals playing in the background and quickly developed a taste for music. At the age of 10, he decided that the drums would be his instrument of choice. In 2002, he joined the band Les Fatals Picards (over 200,000 albums sold, over 1,800 concerts, nearly 100 per year, 10 sold-out shows at the Olympia, Eurovision in 2007, etc.). He is primarily the drummer and singer in the band, but he also writes and composes, not to mention taking on the role of manager. Since the beginning of their career, Les Fatals Picards have recorded 13 albums and two live DVDs. Since 2014, Jean-Marc has taken on the roles of manager, producer and songwriter for numerous artists. These include: Max & Mango (Warner), St Aubin (Scorpio), Natis (Capitol), LOU (TF1), Les Enfants de la Terre (Sony), Eko ekO (Joy & co), Laura Cox (Verycords) and Petite Gueule (The Artist). In 2015, drawing on all this experience, Jean-Marc took the time to produce his own album, Novembre 67, and devote it to his passion, French chanson. It was a daring gamble, but Jean-Marc put down his drumsticks to write a few songs about love, with tenderness and nostalgia. In 2019, he produced and recorded Saudade, revealing his passion for bossa nova with the group A Banda. In 2022, he will release his album in tribute to Michel Berger, Ton piano danse toujours. This magnificent love song to an artist who sadly passed away too soon will be premiered in Switzerland at the magnificent Villars Palace theatre.
